I recently stayed at Albergue Del Montero in Mondonedo for a few nights during my Camino journey. The space was excellent with plenty of nooks and hangout areas both outside and inside. The staff were brilliant and efficient, ensuring the area was super clean with new sheets provided. The restaurant offered one of the best meals we've had in Galicia so far, with the scrambled egg spinach and shrimp dish being a winner.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The space was excellent, with plenty of areas to relax both inside and outside. The staff were efficient and the area was kept very clean. The restaurant offered some of the best food we had during our time in the region.
Access to the accommodation was a bit inconvenient, as it required walking through a restaurant and hotel. It would have been helpful to have an inner door, especially during rainy weather.

• Impeccable facilities, well taken care of. • Large communal areas, perfect for relaxation and socializing. • Fully stocked kitchen with all necessary utensils. • Convenience of a supermarket and gas station nearby for any needs. • Friendly and genuine staff. • Memorable and enjoyable stay
Lack of an inner door for easy access during unfavorable weather or for dining at the restaurant. Access to the albergue through the side of the restaurant and hotel can be inconvenient

The albergue had impeccable facilities, well taken care of and easily relaxing. The community areas were a highlight, with a fully equipped kitchen that had all the utensils for a gourmet meal. There were two electric power stoves, a large fridge, and enough room for groups. The TV and sofas in the common area were perfect for unwinding, and the patio and terrace area provided extra seating options. The friendly staff, always with a genuine smile, made the stay even more memorable.
While the albergue had a lot of positive aspects, the only downside was that the dryer was not very powerful. It took three runs to fully dry the clothes.
